We didn't have time to do this one in 2006 but it is too good to miss; this time Bernadotte arrived!

This was a bit of a fantasy battle; as it is pretty impossible for the French to win unless the Prussian are constrained to attacking little bits at a time and forcing players to be really stupid is not much fun. So we had Bernadotte's corps arrive so the Prussian had to hold him at bay whilst trying to break Davout - a very difficult proposition indeed. Made more difficult by the Prussian commander playing realistic command and control from a different room with little intelligence of what was happening on the battlefield. Great fun and the Prussian army did a lot of blundering about. It was eventually squeezed between the anvil of Davout in passive defence and the hammer of a aggressive Bernadotte. Good Stuff!
