Zes Defence

The attack of Augereau's VII Corps hits the first line of Zeschwitz's Saxons whilst on the right Saxon Cheveaux Legers battle with French Chasseurs. However Augereau has a big problem a Regiment of Prussian Hussars that were stationed behind Iserstadt (top left) sees an opportunity target and charges his skirmishers. The Regiment is too large to be stopped by the skirmishers firing into their flank from the wood and the charge hits the skirmishers in the open and also sweeps away the Battalion behind them and two gun batteries. The Saxon Cavalry on the right is successfull in repelling the French Chassuers and for good measure a French Hussar Regiment coming up behind is charged and routed by a Saxon Cuirassier Regiment. The French attack is stalled they are not going to be able to advance on this flank.

	Augereau tries to get his Skirmishers to leave the Isserstadt Wood again, but with the Prussian Cavalry in range they aren't moving!
