200 years ago, on 5th May 1821, Napoleon Bonaparte died on the island of Saint Helena. The Napoleon 200 project exists to consider the significance of Napoleon’s death in the 21st Century and to preserve the built and cultural heritage of the island.

The British Napoleonic Bicentenary Trust are collaborating with individuals and institutes from across the world to deliver a series of thought-provoking events in the lead-up to the bicentenary of Napoleon's death on May 5th, 2021. Through your donations, we hope to raise enough funds to begin crucial restoration on numerous British-owned heritage sites on the island of Saint Helena.

Thank you for your support.
